In March we made the trek down south for Jessica and Chad's baby shower. The twins, Lincoln and Paxton, are due at the end of May. Carson can hardly wait to meet her cousins. As always, it was wonderful to visit with Mommia and Granddad and Aunt Jessica and Uncle Doctor Chad. Aunt Jessica already looked like she was about to burst. We encouraged her by saying, "Don't worry, only two more months!!"
The weather began to warm up so we were able to spend more time playing outside. We visited Fairy Tale Town with Janie. Bryan awakened Carson and Glory to a new favorite pasttime, driving up and down the driveway in the van. They take turns sitting in the driver's seat. Carson says things like, "Turn on Raffi." or "Stop, I need to feed the baby."
Carson enjoyed an egg hunt put on at a local school. For Carson's age group, they scattered eggs on a field and the kids charged. The entire field was eggless within 3 minutes. Not much of an egg hunt. Carson opened the eggs, looked at the candy and didn't know what to do with it.
We spent many weekends outside attempting to get the landscape started. Carson enjoyed digging in the dirt (no grass yet), being pushed up and down Nonnie and Pop's driveway on her tricycle, and basically getting as dirty as possible. We feel so thankful to have a little girl who loves to play in the dirt.
