For Labor day, we took a trip to Klamath falls with Carson. We were informed by the young lady working at the information center that there are actually no falls in Klamath Falls. We found this hard to believe but have yet to do the online research it would take to corroborate her story. Falls or not, our trip was truly wonderful. We slept in a bit, cooked some delicious food, walked a lot, and took a day trip to Crater Lake. It's hard to imagine a more beautiful place than Crater lake. Janie came to visit for a day and a night while we were there and it was wonderful to reconnect with her.

Speaking of visits, the Brown family made their first trip to Loomis and we enjoyed some great company, hearty laughter, and a pie/tart/custard thing that seemed like it came out of a cooking magazine.
